Fabulous small county run campground on the beach. 28 sites all separated by beach shrubs. We used a tent but most are in RVs. Each site has power and water and is within a very short walk to an uncrowded beach. Paddle board launch to the Sarasota bay is within walking distance to your site. No fires are allowed at your site but there are grill sites and picnic tables close to the beach for your use. We would definitely stay here again.

The host Val and Steve are very nice. It is a great little small place. You are not allowed any recreation motor vehicles like jetski's, boat's or golfcart. Paddleboard and kayak are welcomed. With a launch nextdoor. They lost the bathhouse. But do have portable restroom with showers. That was clean. It is a little on the upper price. We enjoyed our time with wonderful sunsets.

This was such a beautiful area with a relatively quiet beach. The campsite itself though tight was very well maintained and they did the best they could for privacy with what space they had. The temporary restrooms are not ideal as they tend to smell and the showers are cold but the staff does well with keeping them clean.
Two major pluses for us was
The shuttle picks you up in the parking lot right next door to the campground which takes you all around Siesta Key and Sarasota for free! Also, directly across the street, Murph's kayak rental was perfect to rent kayaks and check out Midnight pass, and all the gorgeous sound side areas for the wildlife both above and below the water.
My main unfortunate issue with the campground was with the camp host Larry. Larry (camp host) visited our campsite more than 10 min before quiet hours to tell us that we were "very loud 10 min ago and that quite hours start at 10 o'clock". We were taken aback because we weren't drinking or playing loud music. We were actually laughing about something quite funny that happened earlier that day. When Larry appeared, my wife was already in the camper in bed, and I was reading a book outside of the camper. Perfect silence. We both felt put off and blindsided by this, as we respect campground rules wherever we go. We noticed prior to this that there were a few spaces available and were even considering asking to stay an extra night, but this just kind of put us right off of the whole idea and we were done after this. As I said before most of the experience was fabulous, but this experience with the campground host really put a sour taste in our mouth, sadly.

Love this place, we come here once a month. It is a small campground but love the location. It is right on the beach and the new bathrooms have air condition. There is a pretty restaurant across the street with beautiful water views. This time we took the trolley all the way to the end just to see how far it would go, It actually went pretty far. It stops at one of our favorite restaurants Marina Jack on the marina. Many stops along the way and free. Just tip the nice driver. Also stops at the public beach. They have the best afternoon sandbars w the low tide. Stay late for it.

Beautiful! Right on the beach, clean and well maintained. Wonderful camp hosts.
We had the kids along, ages 4-8, and they had an absolute blast. We took the trolley bus to the village for dinner. Seems everyone had the same idea! Siesta Key was as busy and crowded as I’ve seen this weekend. Will be back if we are lucky enough to get a campsite reservation again.
