Sunny Pines RV & Mobile Home Park (Age Restricted 55+)

Excellent park ,friendly people and effective management who look after residents .We are new residents but have been next door for 6 years and always wished we could be in Sunny Pines. Life is great at Sunny Pines .Very active clubhouse . Many outside activities available also .

Second year staying here, great location, great people, great management. Front sites will have road noise, but only time it is bothersome is at night but we use a sound machine for sleep anyway so no worries. Close enough to Tampa and Orlando to easily meet up with friends and family traveling.

Very quiet Rv park. Clean bathrooms and nice pool.

It's a nice campground really. A few years ago it was bought by a corporation. Some improvements were made: the pool is great now that the nature stone deck was replaced and a good water heating system was installed; the clubhouse had a makeover which included the kitchen; the horrible entry gate was replaced and it is very good now and no longer a danger to vehicles. For RVs, the price seems quite reasonable. I have a few suggestions/observations:(1) Put up signs in the laundry to say how long the washers and dryers run. (2) A park map for us folks who are temporary would be wonderful; nice parks have them. The 1 posted out front is badly outdated. (3) There is blatant disregard for the pool rules (4) What few picnic tables there are are in terrible shape! Tacky. (5) In a number of RV sites, the posts to which the water and electric are attached are totally rotted. We reported ours but nothing was done. (6) Education and communication is needed to get people to collapse their boxes for the dumpster and to minimize their yard waste AND to toss to the rear of the container! Most seem to drop their trash right over the front edge.
Now that "Corporate" has taken over, it sort of seems like things are edging toward squeezing out RVs and filling the place up with permanent structures that will be owned or rented out ---- bigger money makers, of course. I am sad to see that happen. 😞
