What Guests Are Saying

Juniper Springs Recreation Area is a beautiful natural destination, ideal for summer visits with its refreshing springs and scenic kayaking on Juniper Run. Campgrounds are generally well-maintained and offer a peaceful atmosphere, with friendly staff enhancing the experience. However, some facilities, like the wooden boardwalks and bathrooms, require repairs, and visitors should be cautious of ticks and occasional overcrowding in popular areas.

The tent campsites are roomy and private. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The park is a beautiful place and appears to be well cared for.

Lovely setting with lots of dense tropical foliage helping to hide the campsites. Very nice restroom/shower facility centrally located and not far from each site on each loop. Subtle lighting at night which made sleeping nice and dark.

The experience is amazing at Juniper and I love camping in Fern. The trails at Juniper mean so much to me and I would love for the park to fix them. I suggest to take out the boardwalk and to let us have the paths and have only dirt. It will make the experience at Juniper even more magical.

Cool campground. Neighbors were still loud at 2:30 in the morning though. Could have done without that.

The trails have been closed for years and camping fees have increased. No hookups … not much to see. Not worth the money.

Been coming here for years to go camping on New Year's Eve. It's a really peaceful campground and the swiming hole is really accessible.

This is a fantastic park. But for us, the generator noise this visit was too much. Most people turned them off for quiet hours, but that’s not til 10 p.m. one group rolled in late and set up their loud generator and both my husband and I went to talk to them..independently. We didn’t know the other went over. This particular group was nice, but they would not listen to me at all. Finally turned the thing off after my husband talked to them. They were in a completely separate section of the campground from us..an extra loud generator. This would be less of an issue if we had bilingual signage. They truly did not realize it was a problem.
