What Guests Are Saying
Juniper Springs Recreation Area is a beautiful natural destination, ideal for summer visits with its refreshing springs and scenic kayaking on Juniper Run. Campgrounds are generally well-maintained and offer a peaceful atmosphere, with friendly staff enhancing the experience. However, some facilities, like the wooden boardwalks and bathrooms, require repairs, and visitors should be cautious of ticks and occasional overcrowding in popular areas.

The boardwalks have been in disrepair for the past few years. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

Denise and the mgmt crew is awesome as usual. The continued condemnation and closure of the board walk and shade structures just makes this hidden gem of a park look like a neglected dump with so much potential... it's sad as someone who has seen the decline over the last 20 years

When will they add clay, crushed rock to the broken off Asphalt that have never been addressed in Tropical Loop. I can count on one hand how many people I know that have fallen and twisted ankles as a result of the neglect . Take a dump truck in, compact it. Not a big job and cost effective considering the new resources for clay and shell rock, etc.

We love staying at Juniper Springs. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. We always feel safe and comfortable. Love renting kayaks and paddle Juniper run. Close to many other springs as well.

This site is perfect. We were able to park efficiently and use the entire space effectively. Traffic was higher than some other sites, but it wasnt a bother. People were very respectful. The spring was beautiful. Definitely will return.
