This is our absolutely favorite campground!! Sites are private and quiet. The location is the best!! Tracey in the office is always so kind each and every time I come into the office. It is always so nice to come back twice a year and stay for several weeks. This trip, our truck broke down and we needed help. Tracey went above and beyond to help us. She is awesome!! Candy is also wonderful. Tommy assisted us in getting us where we needed to be and was so friendly!! We are so very grateful for both of you. Thank you!!

The rudest staff we have ever encountered - Simple questions are met with attitude - and we say this as a disabled vet!

We recently stayed here and I want to start by saying the campground itself is absolutely beautiful — truly stunning grounds and very well maintained. The sites, scenery, and overall atmosphere make this a place you want to love, and from a visual and location standpoint, it really delivers. The people camping in the campground are friendly and nice as well.

Kate’s Restaurant was also phenomenal. The food, service, and experience there were a highlight of our stay and something we would absolutely recommend. The people here were AWESOME!

Unfortunately, the check-in and check-out experience was the complete opposite. The front desk team we interacted with were some of the rudest individuals we’ve encountered in our travels. Simple questions were met with noticeable hostility and attitude, which made what should have been an easy arrival feel unnecessarily stressful. They need to pull their stick out and take some simple manner classes!

Additionally, the campground map is inaccurate and does not reflect several areas of the property, which created confusion when trying to locate amenities and navigate the grounds. When we called for clarification, we were again met with an unhelpful tone rather than solutions. Label your map with an exit and dumpsters or expect “basic” questions. This is common sense!

This is a place with so much potential given how beautiful the property is, but guest services and accurate information are a big part of the experience — especially for RV travelers arriving after a long drive. We will NEVER come back!

We hope y’all see improvements in the future because the setting truly deserves a service experience that matches it - a little common courtesy goes along way.

First time camping with trailer at this 'resort'. Campground sites are beautiful, very spacious and separated by lush greenery. All hook ups worked well (FHU site). It's all about location, location, location and it's expensive - $110.00 daily. Across the road from the ocean and walkable. Nice pool, informed it was heated but only heated for a few days then cold. Hot tub was always luke warm and could not find jets to work. All this is tolerable except for the bathroom, shower facilities: they were "Filthy" and very beat up. We were told they are cleaned daily but that is not possible. We use our trailer shower for storage but had to clean it out to shower as these were just too bad. This 'resort' is beat up and needs some attention. Would question going back for location which is fabulous but too expensive for amenities.

I want to share my experience with North Beach Camp Resort in St. Augustine, Florida. Unfortunately, it was a horrible experience, and we ended up leaving early because of the lack of cleanliness.

The first thing we noticed when entering the cabin was the smell. Then came the dirtiness. I fully understand this is a cabin in the woods—I was not expecting 5-, 4-, or even 3-star accommodations. What I did expect was a place where I could lay my head down and feel clean. We even voiced this to the front desk staff, and they dismissed our concerns, repeating that “it’s a cabin in the woods.”

However, the issues went far beyond what anyone should consider normal for a rustic stay. We found hair in the kitchen sink, in the utensils, in the bathroom sink, and in the shower. There were cobwebs in the corners, visible dust on the walls, and caked-up dust and dead bugs along the floorboards. The carpet upstairs was filthy, and the futon felt like something was biting me. The entire cabin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months.

It genuinely appeared that the extent of their cleaning was the toilet—nothing else. No wiping of walls or cabinets, no mopping, no sweeping. I have stayed in cabins before, and even in one-star, cigarette-smelling hotels, and those rooms were cleaner than this cabin. I honestly would have felt cleaner sleeping in a tent.

We were supposed to stay four nights but ended up leaving in the middle of the night on the second-to-last night because we simply could not take it anymore—the smell, the condition of the cabin, the lack of cleanliness, and the dismissiveness of the staff.

For reference, we stayed in Cabin #149. I do not recommend the cabins at all.

To be fair, the resort itself has a very good location, especially with its proximity to downtown St. Augustine and the beach. I would consider returning to try the campground again. But as for the cabins—absolutely not. I could not be paid to stay in one again. If I could give negative stars, I would.

This is a GREAT campground. Right next to the beach with easy access—couldn’t have asked for a nicer spot. We stayed at site 46, tucked away in the back, and it was perfect. There are two excellent restaurants right next to the campground, both of which we highly recommend. Check-in was a breeze, the site was level, and the electric, water, and sewer hookups were all in excellent working order. You can fish, walk the beach, or just relax in total peace. And if you want the crowds, St. Augustine is only about 5 miles away. Highly recommend North Beach—we’ll definitely be back.
