Horrible Horrible place. Management has no managerial skills or education. Sits in the office during business hours with the door locked . This is a 55 + park . Well let me tell you if you are disabled you definitely want to stay away from this place. The new Clubhouse has no handicap accessible doors. So if somebody is not there to hold the door for you good luck. I was a caretaker for 66 year old lady that is a friend of mine. And I was forced to leave and let this lady fend for herself because the property manager listens to hearsay from her garbage man that is also a tenant with absolutely no proof to backup his claims . She also allows privileged tenants to put up fences and do outside work without proper permits. The rules of the park state no weapons of any kind including knives, firearms, but the garbage / maintenance man is allowed to walk around with one 24 hours a day 7 days a week and threaten people. The property manager has defamed my character more than once to several tenants in that Park. And I have retained an attorney. I was also forced to do a background check 9 months after being in the park. There are other guest staying in the Park not even close to 55 and have never done background checks. And if you contact higher up you get ignored. The maintenance Personnel are not licensed contractors and are working on elderly tenants Electric and plumbing. If an elderly disabled tenant has an in-home nurse park in front of the tenants home the tow truck gets called. Every time I had a guest over the tow truck got called. However cars never got towed due to the fact that we lived on a service road and management has the road blocked off on one end and we weren't blocking anybody or bothering anybody. It was just another way to harass and single out certain tenants for no reason. This park is the biggest joke of a 55 plus Retirement Community. And they evict elderly people that are disabled and on wound pumps and walk with a walker for no legitimate reason other than pure harassment. The rent goes up up up and the amenities do nothing but go down down down. And as I stated it's not handicap friendly. We were told that we need to park in a visitor spot on the other side of the park to load and unload vehicles. That's how handicapped disabled people get treated in this park. they have cameras all over the park pointing directly at people's homes invading tenants privacy. So if you're looking for a 55 + park to retire at an enjoy your peaceful quiet living this is definitely not the park for you...

WORST PLACE WE EVER BOOKED! Paid for a week. When we got there, there were no picnic table, the lot wasn’t big enough to put a kitchen fly and you couldn’t sit outside because of the thousands of misquotes. THE SMELL OF SEWAGE WAS CONSTANT!
The (bathrooms) one for each gender were very far away.
We left first thing the next morning. YOU COULDN’T PAY US TO STAY! Save your time and go elsewhere. I would have given a zero star but didn’t have that option!

Woah, this park has changed dramatically since my first visit in 2020, new marina with a gazebo to relax in, and grill while you fish off the sea wall, gorgeous new homes built, a beautiful new pool landscape and retaining wall. A comfortable screen in patio to the clubhouse, boat trailer storage facility. Can’t wait to see why they do with the upcoming clubhouse renovation ! Love the management and maintenance team here very friendly and helpful. Great place to sit and watch wildlife out on Lake Eustis.

My husband and I stayed the month of March 2017 at the Holiday Mobile Park. We enjoyed our stay there. It was very quite and we met many of our neighbors. Gary and Sonya were very nice and very helpful when we moved our RV Motor Home in. We actually ran over the water pipe (thanks to my directing my husband). Gary was there in minutes cutting off the water and getting a plumber out to fix it. He did not make us feel like we shouldn’t be driving and parking if we didn’t know what we were doing. He got it fixed in no time and helped us get things back to normal having water in record time. We got to know Travares so much and the surrounding area, we loved it there. Planning to go there again sometime in January 2018, 3-4 months.
