Crystal Lake Village

The only thing I would say is to be sure that you’re comfortable with the level of road noise coming off of 17 if you buy a home or lease an RV lot close to the freeway. To be honest, it’s terrible. Also, there’s a lot of camper conversions in the back of the park that are starting to look really old. The park does require residents to keep their property very well kept though.The dog park and the sport courts are also right along the highway and the road noise can make it very loud there as well. However, the lot rent is more affordable than a lot of other places. But you get what you pay for. You will just have to pick what works for you.

I lived there from 2008 to 2020. The place went downhill every year. Everything was catered to winter guests and little to nothing for year rounders. Office staff got meaner, cruder, and nastier as time went on. The older man, Gene, would tell his buddy all the stuff about residents....very unethical. Rates were going up and nothing to see for it, except a few cute bricks laid down. Appeared to me that the older residents were the ones picked on and new folks allowed to do as they pleased. Glad I got out and have been happier ever since.

My brother has lived here for almost 6 years, now 11yrs. Crowded and lots to do in the winter but guiet and easy going in the summer. Nice pool. Reasonably safe. UPdate: As of 2023, there is new management that does not care for the needs of the full time residents. Everything is geared to making the snowbirds happy. I hate it here now. And rents are up a lot. With nothing to show for it.

Nice park! Nice managers, great neighbors! Maintenance guy was awesome, got to things quickly when needed.
