Rails End Wildwood

No management nobody knows what's going on we heard those a lot rentless 900 plus but it's a decent package quiet no real amenities to speak on

I booked on Camp Spot & was not aware this was a 55+ community. No one really cared that we were here but we were told we were not supposed to be there. Each time I did laundry the machines broke; the last straw was when the washers filled with water & errored out after 30 minutes. No one works in the office on site - learned that the day of the washer incident. Called the number listed & no one answered or ever called me back. Not a very welcoming park & the owners definitely don’t care about you.

I saw some new Park Model Homes being erected so I decided to drive through and wha I saw was a nice park with manicured lawns and people strolling the grounds. I saw the park models but just the outside.
The only problem I saw was that the swimming pool looked old and outdated and there seems to be a lot of algae on the bottom. I don't think I would swim in the pool.
The park models are probably affordable and a cheap way to snowbird.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in December 2022. If I had written an immediate review, I would have given them 5 stars. People were great, staff was good, and we were welcomed and safe. Fast forward to July 2023 when we receive a collection notice in the mail saying we didn't pay. We were shocked. Campers don't stay at campgrounds without paying before they park. My wife called the collection people and was told if we couldn't produce a receipt, we had to pay (again) This campground did not take credit cards and we thought we had paid cash and no we wouldn't have kept the receipt after 8 months. As my wife was getting ready to pay them AGAIN, I asked her to check out bank account to see if we had written a check.... Low and behold we did. My wife called the collection company back, but they wouldn't talk with her, so she emailed them our proof but still they didn't call back and apologize. We haven't heard anything from anyone, but at least now we have proof. What is more a shame, we would have visited them again this December, but I'm guessing now we will find someplace else to go.

We have so enjoyed this park... everything is clean, very well kept up, lots of activities to keep you active if that's what you are looking for...and if not, just relax and enjoy the sunshine. It's a pleasant mix of year round residents and snow birds. Centrally located to make days trips convenient in every direction. We will definitely be back next year.
