Hillcrest RV Resort

I used to love going to their clubhouse sale always friendly people until today. I was walking through the building with my service animal, and one of the ladies that worked in the building approached me and told me I had to leave because I wasn't allowed to have a dog in the building. I explained to her that it was a service dog and offered to show her my documentation, which I carry with me all the time for this specific reason. She refused to look at it and told me I had to get out and that my dog was not a service dog I guess she is an expert and can tell whether the animals are service animals by just looking at them.. She argued with me and told me I had to leave, she was very rude and obviously doesn't know the Disabilities Act for service animals. Someone needs to inform her that service animals are allowed and that she is not allowed to judge. It is beyond belief how some people can act just because they have a vision of what a service animal should look like or act like. Not all service animals are trained to do the same exact thing. You never know what the disability may be or how the animal is trained and should never judge.
This was totally wrong the way we were treated even though it was just a garage sale it really gives the park a bad name.

The Good:
The price is very reasonable.
Anemities and activities are very nice.
Most people are pretty friendly there!
There are many activities for senior adults.

The Bad:
They don't seem very pet friendly to me. There is no fenced in dog park and you have to walk your dog in the back of the property.
They put all the campers with pets in one area and it is not the better area.
Wi-Fi is confined to being in the clubhouse.
The grounds where they put the pet people are filled with cockaburs.
There are many karens in the park.

I discovered Hillcrest RV Resort 4 years ago and I can tell you that this is great place lots of activities and great time. The groundkeeper do a wonderful job keeping the place clean. The front office (Christy) is very welcomming and do a superbe job...

This is a 55+ RV park. It has great activities in the winter months and pool year round. Lots are spacious. People are the best. Close to restaurants.

It's clean and well cared for. A great place to park your RV any time of the year. Spots can be rented for the day, week, month or year. They have a lot of planned activities in the winter. There is a pool and a hot tub.
