Each year we hold an Easter Egg hunt and family meal at the pavilion. We have been doing this for 8-10 years . We are never disappointed . The pavilion provides for 75-100 people and we always have 50-75 show up counting kids. The area around the pavilion provides excellent egg hunting hideaways and the families usually migrate down to the picnic area for water fun. It is a little cold at times . But In over 8 years we have never been disappointed or had such bad weather we have had to cancel (except Covid times) . Highly recommended for family gatherings . No power or cell service , only fellowshipping and good times - out of our daily rat race. We all love it , and it is a modest fee for the pavilion.

Great location... Pavillion was in great shape and adequate trashcans provided. No cell service at all - but for real, its almost a blessing.
I teach high school and bring a group of high school kids for a "Forest Day" - I'll be back every year.
