What Guests Are Saying
Eastbank is a highly regarded campground known for its beautiful, well-maintained facilities and spacious, clean sites, providing a peaceful atmosphere with stunning lake views and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the well-kept grounds and the variety of amenities, making it an excellent choice for camping and fishing. However, some reviews note that the bathrooms require better maintenance, and there are concerns about the leash rules for pets not being followed consistently.

Park is well maintained. our site had been raked clean of leaves, the grass around our site had been mowed and trimmed. The bath house was clean. the camp host were nice. The views from the water are great. It was also nice to have a boat ramp inside the park. We will definately be going back!

This campground is well-managed and maintained and just a pleasant place to hang out. The lake is beautiful and we will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.

We stayed at Eastbank campground in a Leisure Travel Unity MB 25 foot Class C RV. We stayed in Site 28, a back in site. We were treated to a beautiful sunset. This campground is well maintained. We will visit again.

This is a great example of USACOE campgrounds. The sites are spacious and well laid out for privacy and view. Campsite utilities such as water, electric, picnic table, grills are well maintained. The campsites also have a sturdy work table that looks like a fish-cleaning table. There isn't much need to clean fish at the campsite because there is a fish cleaning station near the campground entrance complete with stainless steel work surfaces, sprayers, and an industrial strength garbage disposal. The facilities such as restrooms, showers, dump station are all in good repair and are well maintained. The roadways are paved and well maintained. Campsite driveways are generous in size. The lake is easy to access from the campground; either walking up to the shore or going to the boat ramp. I've heard people mention that the slope on the boat ramp is too flat and they practically have to back the tow vehicle into the water to get their boat off, but for our kayak it was just fine.
We've stayed at this campground three times, once in the A-loop and twice in the C-loop, and will stay again. On the first stay in 2021 there was quite an infestation of Argentine ants, but we didn't notice that the last two stays, in May and October 2023. The lake advertises 78 species of fish. I only fished on the October 2023 trip and had good luck with largemouth bass fishing from a kayak.

Our site was large and level with no close “neighbors.” Shower houses were within easy walking distance. Hosts and attendants were friendly and helpful.
