What Guests Are Saying
Eastbank is a highly regarded campground known for its beautiful, well-maintained facilities and spacious, clean sites, providing a peaceful atmosphere with stunning lake views and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the well-kept grounds and the variety of amenities, making it an excellent choice for camping and fishing. However, some reviews note that the bathrooms require better maintenance, and there are concerns about the leash rules for pets not being followed consistently.

Nice place to spend a few days. The walk to the dam was really nice, but there's not much else to do around the campground.

We stopped at Eastbank for one night on our way from Alabama to Florida. We liked it so much we decided to spend 4 nights there on the way back. Really nice park/area. There were some nice bike paths that we rode on. The bathrooms are in need of an upgrade but we used our camper facilities so it didn't affect us. The people working the gate were super friendly! Free washer and dryer, could have used a cleaning, we didn’t use them.

We choose this park as one of our stays as we crossed Florida. When we arrived we were warned by the attendant about Argentine ants. Fortunately we did not encounter any. We had a nice view of the lake and the sunsets were great when we were there. I took our dog on multiple walks around the park which he enjoyed. It was a great place to get away from it all and just enjoy some time on the lake. And there are alligators. We did see one. The park attendant recommended keeping our dog out of the water. We camped at Eastbank Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoy Eastbank but this stay was not our best. Our campsite had cigarette butts that had not been cleaned up and discarded bottle caps. Prior campers had pounded large spikes and tent brackets but had not been removed them. The most disturbing was hearing one of the camper host sites getting into a horrible argument which was reported to park ranger.
