The campground was very clean and the views of the water were breathtaking...only complaint is we have a jet boat and the hydrilla was so bad at the landing it stopped our boat up. We had to clean out the jet 3 times. Once going out and twice coming in. The boat just quit and we had to crank the boat on the trailer. (And I don't mean 4 ft I mean the entire strap on the trailer) The next day we went to boat ramp down the road and is was fine. Please have someone clean up the boat ramp.

I loved being right on the lake. The tent sites are secluded from the Rv sites so it's nice and private. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. It was shady in some parts, enough trees that if you move with the shade you can stay covered. Ants were an inconvenience, but if you keep an eye out for the nests and stay clear it's not too bad. The toilets and showers are far enough away that you need to drive to them. Definitely a site for a tidy camper to keep the bugs out of your food. Canoeing on the lake was beatiful and so quiet and peaceful. I will definitely go again.

The park is beautiful but the pictures of the sites are highly misleading as site 10 on the website is highly shaded but in reality it is completely barren.
