Watch for the gators, not much to do except chill out. Section A,B are gravel spaces while Section C is paved. Restrooms are clean, staff friendly but grass needs to be mowed and edging.

Camping here has always been one of our favorite sites. The campsites are clean and well-maintained, and the bathrooms are generally clean. The showers are pretty good, also. It's a very nice place to walk around, and almost everyone keeps their dogs on leashes. We've seen a couple of people who thought that because their dogs were behaving, they felt like they were above the leash law, but you never know how someone else's dog may react to them.
The host at the welcome station that afternoon, May 29th, was so wonderfully nice!! There have been a couple in the past that were very unfriendly and rude, but this gentleman was great!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. It’s well kept and managed. well by the staff. Other campers are orderly. The staff drives through periodically to monitor that all is well. The wildlife is wonderful, we saw geese families this visit. We watched and listened to various songbirds. The sunsets are beautiful. Sites are generally a bit off level - we were two inches low on the passenger side this trip. Bainbridge, GA, about a 30 minute ride has breweries, restaurants, Walmart, Tractor Supply and a new Publix! We will be back!

Have been here many times and was never disappointed. Grass could use cutting though. Will be back.
