Pecans and Pines RV Park is a clean, quiet, and well-maintained campground with friendly owners, making it a great stop for both short and long-term stays. Its convenient location between town and Plant Hatch offers easy access to amenities and recreational activities like boating at Dunns Lake. While the park has limited amenities and can get busy due to its small size, it provides a pleasant atmosphere for RV travelers and their pets.

My sister in law and her husband have stayed here several times. I like that it is about a mile from my house. It is rather close to town and other possible temp work locations. The people who own the place are nice. The main thing I don't like is there is shady spots.

Great location between town & Plant Hatch! 10 Minutes to Nuclear Plant Hatch. Only a couple miles to town & less than 10 minutes to the big Walmart in town. The town is small, but has everything you need. Campground is very clean and quiet. They are pet friendly. We have dogs that we bring back and forth with us. They only have 10 spaces, which is great for the people staying - but, because of that, they fill up fast. Space is wide open and Great for playing in the grass or walking your dog around in circles. They keep the grass extremely well maintained. Mowing every week during peak growing season. Dunns Lake Road is a surprisingly busy road, which youll hear the traffic - but it makes it convenient to getting on the highway. Dunns Lake is a few miles down the road and you can take your boats and kayaks there. There is a boat ramp. Owners are always available when needed and their payment system is very easy, maybe lengthy, as you have to resign every month, even if youve been there for multiple months, but still easy as its all processed online and you dont have to drop payments off somewhere - which is a great change for a small RV park. They do accept long term workers - as well as short term stays. We've seen some stay as short as one day. And others have been working at the plant for months and haven't left. There are multiple RV parks to Plant Hatch - but - if you like quiet, small, and close to town - I recommend this place! Happy Travels!
