I came here a few months ago for my birthday to camp for the first time and I'm currently planning to go again in a few months! The campground was beautiful, the staff and everyone around us was incredibly kind and helpful, and the bathrooms were super clean. Excited to visit again!

Absolute perfect campground for our needs with our 32 foot class C RV! Well kept grounds, and great wooded spots! Dead wood around too that you can use for your fires! It is dog friendly, we had no issues with anyone having off leash dogs! We brought our 2 dogs. We will be back, next time we will trailer the horses with us because they have a stable to board as well with trails to ride!

Absolutely gorgeous campground. Look at the map before you reserve your site, some are closer together than others. It's a great base camp to do some really pretty day hikes, and feels very secluded but isn't that far from a Walmart if you forget something absolutely vital. If it hadn't been so rainy we were saving the sunny parts to do further hikes, it would've been great to just wander the property the campground sits on. It really is a beautiful place.
This was our first time camping in more than a decade, and they made it easy but still wonderful. Very quiet and dark at night. The lady who checked us in offered us an adapter for power for free, which we had no idea we even needed. That could've been a real pain, but she solved our problem before we even knew we had one without even making us feel silly for missing something so simple. The bathhouse is rustic, but very clean and well stocked. Easy access to firewood and ice. I really didn't want to leave! Everyone there, even the other campers, were just friendly people. It was a great trip.

Track rock is a great experience! We did traditional camping this trip with a Trail Life scout group. One of the great things is the campsites are fairly close to one another in certain areas so if you have a group, the kids were able to play together and the adults are able to gather together. If you camp near the pavilion, it’s easy to all be close to one another.
Every single campsite has power and a little Spicket for water. Since autumn is here, they made sure to blow off our campsites for us.
I would highly recommend bringing one of those small hoses with the elastic inside for the water. The power is made for like an RV plug-in so if you want to buy an adapter and bring it to be able to use an extension cord and have a little bit of power, you can bring one or they will loan you one for a small charge. If you want a campfire I would recommend bringing some wood and firestarter because everything’s been picked in this area!
The bathrooms were clean and convenient. I did a video on them so you could see exactly what they are like.
Cars can drive around the gravel road and you pull right up to your campsite so it’s easy to unload everything but it does mean the kids have to look out for occasional cars.
There are a couple of different playgrounds for the kids! When you first drive up there, there’s one playground that has a sand pit and a volleyball court and some swings, and another near the pond that is also available with something to climb on and swings.
If your kids are young, I would highly recommend bringing something like a balanced bike or if they’re a little older their bicycle it’s a great area for riding around. It’s very flat and manageable for even young kids.. speed limit is 10 miles an hour (and they’ve made it so that you really can’t go much faster than that).
As others have said, the pond is great for fishing and there are horse stables -At one end you can go visit the horses. Also there’s a long walk along some different locks where people rent the fields and keep their horses. It’s very pretty to walk.
Each campsite had a picnic table and the pavilion also had six picnic tables in it.
The drive to track Rock is in a very pretty part of Union County. It’s extremely scenic with Mountain View’s and big sky views. It’s a very pretty area.
I highly recommend getting some barbecue from Jim smokin butts nearby (it’s the best). Most weekends downtown Blairsville in the autumn tends to have some fun festivals and they’ve got a big farmers market (the farmers market does not have much variety. They tend to have the same shops every time, but it can be something to do on a Saturday morning.)
There are waterfalls close by, including Hilton Creek, DeSoto, Falls, vocal State Park, and you can hike to Brasstown, which is the highest peak in Georgia - all of these are very close)

We stayed near the end of September 2025, on a Friday to Sunday and stayed at spot 10 in our camper van. This place is absolutely beautiful, quiet, very well maintained and clean. We weren't able to go on the hiking trails, but we did walk down to the stables which was a nice short walk. My only complaint was the wifi was not very strong and many of them wouldn't connect. This wasn't a huge deal for us since we had some things pre-downloaded. The showers were clean and they even had a hay ride on Saturday which is so cute. Will definitely visit again!!
