Doll Mountain Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites and serene views of Carters Lake. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, accommodating hosts, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities. Was very easy to back into, could not have a fire because of very dry weather at that time , Just sat around and watched birds and other wild animals. We will be back again, very peace-full,

Very peaceful and Picturesque. However the entrance and roads in the park are very steep and some of the sites are difficult for larger motorhomes. Our 37' diesel pusher just barely fit on our pad, the rear exhaust was over the rear cross ties with only 6" to spare and our door cleared the patio railing by inches, we had to close the door to exit the site. I would strongly recommend anyone towing a vehicle like we were to unhitch before arrival at entrance road and drive them separately.

The down hill into the camp ground is steep but manageable. The parking spots are great and well maintained. There is a steep drop off down to the lake. The apple picking in the fall is great. The apple festival was a huge arts and crafts event. Very cool is thats your sort of thing.
