This worked out great for us. It son and family camped on the site next to us which connected by a set of stairs going down the hill. We had plenty of space at either place to gather the whole family for meals and fire late at night. Just not good for the elderly or small children to be on the stairs without railings. That was my only thing to recommend.

Have great staff that works at the gate and they go around making sure everything is great and they take the time to listen especially Deb and her husband. It was so peaceful and plan on returning again as much as my health will let me.

Everything was perfect except for the hello jackets. It was hard to sit outside without them swarming around you. Many other campers were having same issue.

The stay at Springfield Campground was good. The site was awesome. We were right on the water and the sites are spacious. The guys and gals at check in were great. Very helpful and nice. However, I have issues with the restrooms and the bathhouses. They were kept mostly clean, no issue with that. There is no hand soap in the restrooms. You can't wash your hands!! I called about this and was told to just bring my own. No one wants to bring their own hand soap every time they want to use the restroom. The shower houses are not air conditioned, they are very small showers, and they have no privacy when showering. The main concern was the the privacy. You shower in this really small area, when you step out to dry off there is no place to do so without being in the same space as the shower next to you. The showers are just too small to try to dry off in. We did enjoy ourselves, but I am not sure we will return.
