Rocky Bend Flint River Retreat

I literally can’t say how much I love this place. The ground managers are the coolest people ever and just the most helpful people you can imagine the property is beautiful and well-maintained. The pool is nice and clean. The bathroom and laundry facilities are always kept in tiptop shape, perfect for kids for adults for anyone really not crazy loud here and so close to all the historic downtown attractions you might wanna see while you’re around the state park across the street has so many different amenities and trails that you can take the family to and they are constantly hosting little get-togethers for the people staying here that are so much fun and an absolute joy to go to what recommend to anyone oh, and don’t forget about the free Wi-Fi water, sewage, and electric

The Longleaf cabin was glamping at its best! Spectacular view of the Flint River from the front porch, owls hooting at night and turkeys gobbling in the morning. Office staff was efficient and friendly, and took the time to chat about things to do in the area. The cabin has a microwave, fridge, freezer, stovetop, a/c and heat, and roomy shower. Everything was super clean. Only one quibble: the web page mentioned that they rent kayaks by the hour, but that is no longer the case. We rented through Kayak Attack instead - also recommend.

We spent a week here and as almost Full time RVers I can say this place is a gem!! The sites are really Big and its Beautiful staying on this River. There's a Great long walk you can take with your dogs and the manager is really helpful. Highly recommend 🥰

This RV park is probably the nicest I’ve ever been to! The grounds are spotless, the sites are roomy, and the location is just spectacular. I’m already planning to return when I head south again. The owners have done an amazing job with maintenance and management. Page in the front office page was especially helpful. Great communication over the phone, a friendly welcome, and helpful assistance when I arrived.

The river view is amazing, but what I really appreciated was the help I got when I first got there. It was my first time ever setting up and I wasn't getting power to my camper. In the process of helping me the young man was also able to fix the GFCI on the pole and let me borrow a battery charger. Very helpful fella. If this was closer to where we needed to be, we'd be there full time. I honestly can't thank this place enough. It made our first time out a memorable one.
