Warthen RV Park offers a serene and well-maintained environment, making it a nice choice for annual gatherings. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, spacious sites with full hookups, and the peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and stargazing. Awesome experience, camp host very friendly and helpful. Site we were assigned prior to arrival was in the open, the site next to it was shaded by a large tree. The receptionist changed it before we set up.

This was an awesome drive through, and full hookup stay. Host ensured all was well and that I didn’t need anything. Very professional staff, I would consider coming back for sure.

I stayed at Warthen RV park in the Tent section for about 6 months. I am over 65 so I was given the Elderly Discount rate of $15.00 per night which included everything up until three months then they decided I was not paying enough and added the entire Power Bill for the tent camping area to my bill. The first month it was $110.00 second month $160.00 third month $190.00! Even though the power was supposed to be included. They went into my tent when I was gone to see I had added an electric blanket and they were going to add that to the power bill. I asked to see the bill they refused, said it was none of my business, I said I will buy a meter and put it on my supply! They said they will not allow that. OK then i will get a solar panel and go off Grid they would not allow that.

While I was there a Coyote attacked and killed my rescue cat Ella. They said they could not be held responsible. They made no mention of Coyotes and Ferrel cats that were ripping holes in my tent to get to my cat. I had to go to Animal control to get some help. There were 8 holes ripped in my tent. They got into fights inside my tent. My cat could not go outside the tent without being attacked! If you have small kids, I would not camp there or small pets. My new tent is duck taped together. The entry way was shredded.

They had a couple of large gatherings on Holidays. During that time the 1 bathroom and 1 shower for the entire campground there were numerous people waiting to use the facilities.

Another feature is the shower is on a 5-minute timer. After 5 minutes the lights go out! Imagine being all soaped up and then you can't see. You have to get out of the shower so it will kick on again. There are no hand holds anywhere it is very dangerous. The entire place is not Handicapper Compliant!

I would not recommend the place for kids or small animals and your bill with them is not iron clad, they will charge you whatever they feel like. The overall reason I stayed was that they allow you to stay as long as you want. I would not trade my cat for that though. I was very upset their response was we are not responsible. It would have been nice to know.

Went she called me and told me my power usage was more tha it should be I sent a copy of the power requirements that I had and showed them that the total power I was using was less than $32.00 a month they did not care. In three months, they added $460.00 to my bill. I will never go back except when it comes up in court!

The Tent area rarely had people come by to camp. Now I know why. She does not allow trailers in that area which is the only way anyone should camp there to be safe

We visited Warthen RV Park 3-14-2026 and had a wonderful experience! When we arrived we met sweet Ms Sofia and Mr Tony. They welcomed us graciously and showed us where our site was located. All of the sites are roomy with full hookups! Mr Tony even checked the electrical box for any wasp nests-no worries. Our evening was serene and quiet! A pond surrounded by a walking trail was just what we needed after our long drive. Very very little traffic and dark skies allowed for adequate star gazing!! We enjoyed our stay very much and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you for your hospitality.
