Beautiful beach but the water was a little to rough for us. This is a locals beach and campground. We seen whales and watched a beautiful sunset.

Awesome beach with an amazing view of mountains all around. A quiet and clean beach with clear waters and soft sand. Bring your snorkel and watch the fish all around the rocks

Unfortunately the locals are not very open to visitors @ this park apparently, so go with caution if you do. The setting is nice, but my wife was attacked by a dog that broke away from one of the locals pop up camp areas and chased her, then bit her ankle during our visit. The local family never offered to assist my wife after their dog attacked her, then when the life guard went back with my son to ask about the dogs current vaccine records, they acted like they never had a dog, but eventually confessed up to the incident. "they loaded the dog and left right after it bit her, when we went to find the life guard" Even after confessing to their dog bitting my wife, they still didn't apologize, or offer to assist in her bills for fixing the bite. Pretty sad actually, but the we are family vibe they are selling while taking and enjoying all the tourists money in Oahu, really is just an act apparently.

Perfect beach to catch a sunset at! Kids playground on the north side, closer to the school field (just imagine as a kid going to school there!) Loved to see locals hanging out with families, playing music, chilling and having a good time. Public restrooms are in need of a thorough clean-up and remodeling.

Nice beach, popular with families in groups having gatherings. Don’t expect any natural peacefulness though, as it’s quite bustling in music.

Also, ladies, please learn to throw your soiled female products in a rubbish bin, not on the ground in the dressing room or restroom.
