CJ Strike Area - Cottonwood Park

I am actually surprised that people don’t have better manners on the lake. So rude and no class. Pulling there boats up right next to you so you can’t fish. Lake was so full of particulates. Fish were small and not bitting.

Beautiful here at Jack's Creek CG. Fish jump all day and night... white pelicans... beavers... swallows... very hot and humid this week and a bit buggy but still awesome here. No potable water... vault restrooms... 3-4 bars with Verizon.

The only thing this place needs is full service hookups. Beautiful scenery and well maintained campground. Verizon is also the ONLY cell phones that work here.

Fishing was good
Campground was good, the attendees was very nice
The road into Cottonwood campground is awful! Boats and trailers get all shaken up, cupboards fly open and dishes go flying.
Can't something be done about this?

Nice place for lunch on my exploring.
