We found this campground by luck. Our reservation was for 2 days. Because of the camp host Kim we stayed 4 nights. We moved from our reserved spot to first come first serve. The location is breathtaking. Electric hookup makes it easy camping. The campground was immaculate and the cleanest vault toilets EVER. Thank you Kim (host) and Rec.gov for providing wonderful places to visit our country. Jill and Alan Marble

The host, Kim, was great. The toilets and camp sites were really clean and there was a welcome sign in the sand of the tent site. We were warned of a bear in the neighborhood so we were extra careful about food in site. Would love to have seen the bear.

Grand View is an exceptional campground. Camp host Kim is fantastic. I've never stayed at a campground that was that clean. Kim makes everyone feel welcome.

What a surprise to find such a beautiful and remote campground with electric hookups! The view of lower mesa falls, just yards from our site, was spectacular. I will definitely be back.

Kim, the campground host was an awesome dude! He spent quite a bit of time hanging out with us when we first got there and gave us the “lay of the land” so to speak. The campground itself is in great shape and I literally have ZERO complaints about this trip. The spot we stayed in, Site 2, is literally 100 ft from being able to look over and see the falls. I was afraid that would cause issues with too many people being around and it being noisy, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It has both 30a AND 50a service, so that was fantastic because it was hot and we could run both the front and rear ac in our trailer.

Loved our campsite- 001. It was a double site with plenty of space for 2 RV’s and also has a tent pad, 2 picnic tables, a firepit with grate for cooking, and electric hookup!!! Note: there was no water hookup at your campsite but it was a few feet away with well water that is clean enough to drink! They test it every two weeks. This campground does not offer a dump site for RV’s. We rv’d and tented but some in our party used the restrooms they have there. Bathrooms were immaculate!!!! So clean and did not stink at all! You could tell the camp host Kim takes good care of these campgrounds. He was super nice and was helpful with anything we needed. This campground has only 9 sites which is nice because it keeps it clean and quiet. We had spotty cell service (Verizon) but it did come in and out. Just outside of the campground is a parking lot with an overlook for the Mesa Waterfalls open to the public. It never got busy and no visitors ever tried to come into the campsite. One other thing to note is that Rec.gov maps of campsite is turned around as our site was at the beginning of the campsite and on their map it shows it is at the end. Yellowstone was about an hour drive away. We didn’t have any encounters with bears or wildlife although some campers told us a few days before an adolescent black bear was spotted at the campgrounds. Pets are allowed at this campground so we brought our fur babies with us. There were plenty of trees and vegetation behind our site for our girls to run around and poo/pee. Overall - this was a great campground and great experience for us.

Cleanest and quietest campground I’ve been to! Camp host Kim is courteous and the site is super clean, he even takes the tent spots. It is a little off the beaten path and not a ton to do at the site, but if you’re into quiet and space, this site is awesome. Only 9 total spots and plenty of space in between them all.
