This was our 3rd visit in 6 years. Really a great time. Complete privacy. I had heard that was not the case for some visitors. The cabin is in it's best shape. The creek looks good. The musk rats have been busy. Those dumb brook trout apparently get along with them very well. All sorts of birds: herons, cranes, ducks, loons, hawks, etc. Hot summer days but that cabin felt breezy and nice.

Squirrel Meadows Cabin is a great adventure! No running water. No electricity. Vault toilets “across the street.” But there is water in the back of the an old-fashioned pump. We like it because it is so nice to be in the wilderness. There are also some great ATV trails nearby. And lakes. When the scouts are not at Camp Loll, you can go clear down to the lake. Beautiful!

I really enjoyed my stay at this rustic cabin. It is just off the Flagg Ranch Road. There are a lot of hiking and photo taking opportunities in the area and driving farther down Flagg Ranch Road.Fire wood is provided and a manual water pump out back.I plan on coming back next year as well.

The cabin was clean and cozy. The bathroom was gross! I would suggest a carbon monoxide alarm. Some visitors use propane for heating and lanterns.
