Clean bathrooms and grounds.
Helpful hosts! They went above and beyond
We return once or twice a year. It’s our favorite place to call home when we are fishing the “Joe”

It's was a bad campground for tents. If you had an RV or some sort of indoor glamping setup it might not have been bad. The only plus was running water, power, a decent parkway and a picnic table.

My site was in the direct path of headlights from the highway. At 3am, constant logging trucks and dump trucks started screaming down the road every 15 minutes. I was unable to sleep at all the entire night. The only waterfront access was a boat ramp or a small path that led directly to the water with no beach of any kind.

Been going to Huck for years; ALWAYS 5 stars, til this time. After having suffered elect damage from its New electrical system installed last summer, we now have a new RV Circuit Analyzer to assess the plug in BEFORE plugging in, New Batteries and a serviced Converter. Do Not trust the power box; bring an analyzer so your ‘after camp’ days wont be spent in camper and battery service/replacement. All else about Huck remains Stellar!

Campground is great. The host couple was very friendly and informative. Scenery is beautiful, water and power at every site was super handy.
The website to book is a joke, and don’t expect to easily be able to make changes to your reservation.

Huckleberry Campground is an amazing campground. It's quiet, and the sites are not on top of each other. Plus it's right on the beautiful St Joe river!
