The campground was clean with plenty of space. The river was amazing with a great swim hole. The camp hosts were wonderful. Quiet and peaceful place.

The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, other campers were friendly and respectful, and the camping spots all seemed to have a nice mix of sun, shade, access to the water, and privacy. We'll be back.

Great place, easy to get to. Very clean and monitored well by camp host and facilities personnel. Only complaint is a lot of truck traffic, at all hours, on the highway. Truckers turn on Jake brakes at the beginning of the campground and don’t shut it off until the end. I believe it is done intentionally! Very beautiful country, fishing is excellent. We are already planning our next visit, only this time we will stay for a week!

Really nice campground located on the St Joe River, about a half hour east of St Maries. The campground is next to the road, but it’s not a busy road. The spaces are large, mostly private, full hookups, and free Wi-Fi. The river is beautiful, wild, and scenic with great fishing.

This is one of the best BLM campgrounds I have ever stayed in and it was because the hosts took extra effort to insure the trash was emptied and the grounds were clean. The restrooms were spotless and they had placed deodorizers in the bathrooms and added peppermint to the toilets so they smelled good. There were very friendly welcoming.

Campground Staff were great to work with. They keep the camp sites and restroom facilities and boat launch area well maintained. Also appreciated are their regular checks on guests and grounds thru the day and early evenings to watch over safekeeping of RVs and equipment when we are out on excursions-very appreciated. Only recommendation would be to upgrade wifi system and signal. There were more signal drops and lack of service this year versus earlier visits in 2021. Not expected to stream video and obtain that level of service quality, however, stable wifi signal strength to maintain email and texts checks. Also utilize for wifi calling has been very helpful in the past. The better the Wifi signal , the more frequent I am able to book trips to Huckleberry and also provides a better option for longer stays. THANKS
