Everything was great!! Very clean campground with Very clean bathrooms! The trash cans were always empty and I think they picked up trash every few hours. We are definitely going back next year!!

Campground immaculate and well maintained. The female host very friendly and reasonable. Restrooms very clean and services as advertised. We felt a bit "micro-managed" by the one male host ... constantly on eagle eye, and insisting that you only walk on the roads - not even set a foot on grass that wasn't 'yours'. Even a vehicle parked on an inch (serious!) of gravel was an offense (my sister's husband had to literally move their vehicle one inch!) and request to have all tires on asphalt only. Dogs apparently must be on leash even at the river - unless they were "in the water", which qualified as off-leash. I understand and appreciate that there needs to be rules, but it seemed excessive management on the part of the hosts. As nice as it was, we will not be coming back. Plus, our site was on the main road - not a pull in, but parallel to the road, and this was a disappointment.

The park was so clean and beautiful! We loved our camp site, the float trips we took and the volunteers! They were so friendly, hard working people!

Very well maintained. The host and volunteers stick strictly to the rules and regulations of the campground. This makes the camping experience very relaxing and peaceful.

The evening we arrived my husband fell off the RV steps onto the pavement. His face had many face fractures and it was horrifying at 9:30 pm. I immediately asked Mike the Camp Host to assist me. He was amazing in his care and follow up. I drove my husband to St Maries ER that night and to Sacred Heart ER the next morning. Mike and Jerry were both extremely concerned about both of us. It was amazing help. We came back from Spokane on Sunday afternoon to spend the rest of our reservation in camp hoping my husband could drive the RV home. Mike checked on us daily. He really is the best host we've ever had at any campground. Extremely grateful for his care and expertise during the initial injury and afterwards.
We will return before the campground close for the season. Thanks!
BTW - the campground is extremely clean and well cared for. Both hosts are diligent in maintaining a beautiful place to camp.

This park is by far one of the cleanest parks we have had the pleasure of staying at. The camp hosts work tirelessly to be sure garbage cans are empty and restrooms are clean. The road noise is very loud this time of the year with all of the logging trucks. People were polite and courteous through out the camp grounds.

Beautiful campground right on the St. Joe River. Grounds are very well maintained by the camp hosts. Our Camp Host was welcoming and showed us to our sites since we had not been to this campground before. Every site has a large grassy area which is lovely for the dogs. A couple of the pull through sites are a bit tight for larger pull trailers but there seems to be plenty of space in the back-in sites.
My only complaint is the noise from the highway right next to the campground. Logging trucks all day and night with compression brakes. Very noisy.

Camp hosts were awesome. Campground was super clean even the pit toilets. No stench. I watched one host sweep down the outside of the pit toilet every time he cleaned it!! Awesome. Campsites were neat and tidy. Love, love, love Huckleberry Campground. Our friends also loved the experience.
