The camp ground is awesome and affords everything a person is looking for. Beauty, recreation and is well cared for and clean with almost all the amenities. The camp hosts are terrific, friendly and helpful.

A great campground with wonderful hosts! Very clean grounds and restrooms. Quiet and peaceful. Everything was well taken care of! It is hard to reserve a spot here so when one opened up we quickly reserved it and drove up to see what it was like. The hosts were there and let us look around the site and when we returned for our reservation they remembered us. They had great suggestions for river use and told us many interesting things about the nearby town of Avery. Avery is a great little place to visit-so much history, and our 10 year old grandson loved the museum and train too! We will definitely go back if we can find a spot. Some spots were reserved for long periods of time, but no one was in them which was strange so we'll check into that. We hope to return.

The camp hosts were absolutely amazing!!! They came to greet me as I arrived and even offered me bear spray.
They came daily to say hello and check on us (I was alone with my two young boys) I will always go to this site! Thank you so much to the hosts for making our stay so amazing!

The hosts were wonderful. They sure work hard. We were in site 8 and really enjoyed it. Wish we could have stayed longer but no available sites. That is the only problem in that the campground is totally booked up with only a day here and there available. The kayaking is great, fly fishing is fun but very challenging and the country is beautiful.

Great experience staying at Huckleberry. Camp hosts do an exceptional job of keeping restrooms and camp clean. We have been coming here for many years and the current camp hosts are the best! What is remarkable is that for the past few years there has been a camp host at both ends of the campground. This year they were short handed, so this camp host took care of the entire campground.
