What Guests Are Saying
Huckleberry Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts who take pride in their work. The beautiful setting by the river offers opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities, making it a favorite for families. However, some guests noted noise from nearby logging trucks and felt that the pricing was high, especially regarding additional fees for electricity.

We loved this campground. However, we know it is slated for renovation but while we were there, the camp host was marking large cottonwood trees to be cut down. The trees are a major part of the character of this campground. If some of them need cutting, ok, but they should be inspected and marked by a tree specialist and NOT the camp host. He did not appear to have the expertise
needed to be marking healthy or not healthy trees. I was very disappointed. I say a number of marked trees that appeared healthy. Seemed he was marking trees that were just really big.

A neighbor told us about this place. We stayed there twice and plan to visit again after winter. Campground is quiet and the river is very close by. We had deer very close to our site. We enjoy camping there. The only problem we had, was a camper in our spot upon our arrival, we had reservations, The camp host made them move. they didn't read the post tag. You can fish, float the river, ride bikes etc. or just relax. The road is close by and you may hear some road noise but the hwy. isn't very busy
