Very clean peaceful campground. We’ve visited 3 times in the last year and it won’t be our last. Thank you to the hosts and staff.

Huckleberry Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities, with many reviewers highlighting the exceptional efforts of the friendly camp hosts who keep the area tidy and organized. Visitors appreciate the beautiful setting by the St. Joe River, and the campground is noted as a great location for outdoor activities like fishing and cycling. While some guests mentioned issues with noise from logging trucks and rising costs, the overall experience remains overwhelmingly positive, encouraging many to return.

Facilities are up to date. Campground Hosts are the best we have experienced. Sites are spread apart so you’re not elbow to elbow. Right on the river. It’s perfect!

Very clean and tidy camp, leagues above the usual run down, uncared for camp grounds typical of NPS, USFS, and BLM.

ABSOLUTE BEST CAMPGROUND!!! The grounds are meticulously maintained. The trash cans are never full. There is so "trash" lying around. Even the vault toilets look brand new - We keep returning because it is truly the cleanest site we have ever visited. And the flyf ishing is phenomenal just a few miles away.
