This is one of our favorite places to stay. The host was great, very helpful. The vault toilet was clean and supplied. The site itself was as good as it gets; large, private, and enough shade. We had 2 guests join us; ground squirrels with homes in the site.

Note that site 10 has no parking and no shade. The creek is also dry in the summer and not as advertised.

The washrooms were not clean at all, but the host was nice and helpful. We had an incredible experience with a moose coming into the site for a sleep at 3:30 and then breakfast at 5:15. She was not at all scared of us in our tent watching her intently.

Decent campground for a one night stay, however there are no real views and no redeeming qualities other than proximity to the lake. There are other campgrounds nearby that offer better lake access, amenities, and nearby services. Other than this, from a utilitarian perspective, the campground was very quiet assuming you don't have the misfortune of someone running a generator next door all night.

This campground was fine, nothing exciting or beautiful, but it was very peaceful until 6am the next morning.
It was unfortunate is that the camp host came around at 6am with a very noisy golf cart to change the reservation tags on the sites. 6am??? Really??? We were just starting our vacation and sure didn't want to be woken up in a peaceful campsite at 6am.
