They were so polite attentive and welcoming. My children and our dog had a wonderful time hiking swimming and fishing nearby 😌

We have a 40’ fifth wheel and while the site accommodated our length, the single lane with heavy shrubbery to maneuver into the site didn’t give enough space to get into the site. After 15 minutes of maneuvering and increasing frustration, the host come down and very graciously offered to let us stay in an open double site a few sites down. So while the sites say it will accommodate a larger rig, you won’t be able to get into it. Additionally, while it is just off the interstate, the road is very windy and tight. Could be a great place to explore and close to CDA, grounds are very nicely cared for if you have a small rig.

Very nice, well treed sites. Camp host are incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. As others have stated, care should be taken with the entrance and exit road.

very nice camp hosts. Tent sites ok, however: I slept in car and there was no private parking towards the
tent area.

Quiet and clean. The hosts are great and available. The lake is mostly for boaters which was disappointing but there are great hikes within walking distance of the campground.

Plenty of space in the site and it was level. Camp host was nice and the campground was quiet. Sadly creek was dry.

From Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, go east on I-90 to exit 22, then turn south on ID-97. Drive 2.5 miles to Forest Road 438 and turn left. Go one mile and look for signs.
Beauty Creek Campground is accessible via I-90, with exit 22 leading to ID-97 approximately 2.5 miles to the campground.
Elevation: 661 feet

Policies & Rules
General
- Extra Vehicles: One vehicle is included in your single campsite fee. Each additional vehicle will be charged $10.00 per day fee. If that fee is not paid with your reservation, it will be collected on site (cash or check only). Maximum two vehicles per site.
- Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in approved containers
- SCRS & Recreation.gov policy states we will keep your reserved site until your reservation is null and void and we will give it to first come first serve folks. Your reservation will be a no show and no refund will be given.
- The 14 day stay limit is strictly enforced. Camping for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive day period is prohibited. If you have booked back-to-back reservations, you will be asked to cancel all days after the first 14.
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- The road leading to Beauty Creek has a number of pot holes. Please use caution when driving on this road.
