Beauty Creek Campground offers a peaceful and clean camping experience, with friendly and helpful hosts who enhance the stay. Friendly host and situated in a good area, however the campground is just one big field with everyone sharing the same open space. If you are camping on your car (e.g. car-top tent), you get to camp in the parking. Pictures don't reflect actual campground space. It's clean, lovely, but just not what we were looking for. Two stars due to somewhat misleading pictures (none show the actual camping area).

We just stayed 1 night here as a stopover but it was a beautiful campground! We had a site towards the back of the campground and it felt so private. We didn't use the bathrooms since we had our own so I can't speak to them, but the sites and area were very clean. The creek is dry in summer, but it was cool to walk down the dry beds and look around. Very close to the lake which was nice. We didn't stay in a common tent area, but those had grass and looked very nice, however, did not have any privacy. My only complaint is that the closest functioning water pump was only at the front of the campground and was quite a hike for us.

We were at campsite 006 which was a little close to all the others and didn’t have much privacy. There were others that were more private but we got there too late and they were taken. However, our camp host Christy was awesome and kept checking on us to make sure we were pleased with things. This camp site has a great location because it’s walking distance to Lake Coeur d’Alene and a short drive to the main strip.

This was a great spot to stay- we were in the more wooded area in spot 13, and it was gorgeous! We spent the night without the rainfly and slept underneath the stars. The camp manager was incredibly kind. Definitely would recommend!

There was a mix up with the reservation due to internet access and a lag in the program sending information to the sites but the camp ground host was very helpful and we figured out a solution and had a lovely stay.

A very disappointing site. The photographs don't reflect the camping spots. We arrived in two trucks with roof top tents and would have had to park on the road, there was no access to the fire ring or camping spot with a vehicle. This wasn't made clear in the description or by the photographs. Not a particularly scenic spot. We decided to abandon our booking, which we weren't given a refund for and disperse camp further up the road.
We will not be returning and do not recommend camping at this site.

I have stayed at Beauty Creek three times in the past 2 years. It is a convenient half way stop between Billings, MT and Portland, OR. Lots of space between campsites and they are level. It is not far off the Interstate, and is close to the lake.

We had three families with three rigs and had a blast. The trails accessed from the campsite were fabulous. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

We visited at the beginning of August, 2019. It was anticipated that the creek may be dry that time of year and it was, at least in that reach of it. No surprise there. It's close to town, that is a bonus if you wish to do CDA town stuff. Small road is nearby. Traffic was substantial and rather noisy, mostly loud trucks or OHV. The campsites for reservation were stacked almost on top of one another with no barrier or buffer. We also arrived to a domestic dispute that escalated with the man throwing hot water at the woman. The campground hosts were not around. We moved our tent to another site that wasn't reservable but with lots of natural screening and we called the police. The police response time in Couer d'Alene was prompt. That's a bonus. We debated about staying or leaving. Decided to go to town for a couple hours, came back and the folks were gone. We decided to pack it up. Out of courtesy we told the campground hosts what had occurred and our decision. They were not helpful, just kind of blew it off and asked us to stay because they may "need a statement." I suggested they check with the police. The hosts also said these people stay and usually the woman is more combative. Good decision to leave. A nylon tent was not going to provide a security barrier to resting easily. Ended up in a ridiculously overpriced basic hotel room in CDA.
