Friendly host and situated in a good area, however the campground is just one big field with everyone sharing the same open space. If you are camping on your car (e.g. car-top tent), you get to camp in the parking. Pictures don't reflect actual campground space. It's clean, lovely, but just not what we were looking for. Two stars due to somewhat misleading pictures (none show the actual camping area).

This campground was a nice place to stop for one evening. Close enough to town to grab a bite to eat, but far enough where you don’t hear the city. The camp host was absolutely wonderful. So helpful and kind. There were a lot of noisy people the night we were there, and since it is relatively open, we could hear them loud and clear. That’s the only reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars. Otherwise a great place to stay. I would still recommend staying here. We maybe just picked a poor weekend.

We had a campsite in the middle section where lots of people camp rather than an individual private campsite. The general area feels very exposed and is also quite loud. The individual sites are quiet and private.

This is a little gem of a camp ground nestled next to a seasonal creek. Mostly tent sites with USFS composting toilet and a hand pump so on the primitive side. Camp host this year was INCREDIBLE. Very attentive but not intrusive.

Spacious and private site. No mosquitos. Amazing camp host. There's a place nearby you can park and get into the lake if you want, shallow enough for young kids.

We had only one night here, but it was very nice. Our site was 015 - it was large and private. The host was extra helpful and gave us tips on hiking in the area. We were lucky to discover this small campground!

What a fantastically well kept campground with a brilliant host. I cannot thank her enough, and hope that she receives the recognition she deserves. Super friendly and approachable and proactive to ensure we had everything we need and knew the local spots to go for a hike.

From Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, go east on I-90 to exit 22, then turn south on ID-97. Drive 2.5 mi to Forest Road 438 and turn left. Go one mile and look for signs.
Beauty Creek Campground is accessible via I-90, with exit 22 leading to ID-97 approximately 2.5 miles to the campground.
