I did not see where to input my Senior info in your on line reservations system. Is senior pricing available for this camping area? Thanks, James

Lovely campground meadow near bubbling creek. Very scenic. Large group shelter with a number of picnic tables. Water pump.
Mosquitoes were present and hungry during mosquito hours. My bites became quite swollen and itchy.
Confusing campground layout because in the tent camping area, two picnic tables had roofs and others did not. Also, numbered picnic tables did not align with tent parking spots. Tent parking spots were lined up like a Safeway parking lot. We had a VW camper van and camped in that. Some people might be put off by the tent parking situation if they planned to sleep in their vans because parking spots are so close to each other.
Campground does have larger, more private sites which accommodate a truck and trailer, camper or other RV. They are the same price.
We did not see a campground host, but pit toilets were clean and stocked, although toilet seat lid had been broken off.
The road above the campground seemed very busy, not sure why.

Beautiful wooded campground with spacious, level sites including picnic table & fire ring and nearby clean vault toilets & trash cans. Firewood available from host. Lovely sound of the water in the creek behind site 16 and an abundance of songbirds.

This campground is mis-named: It is not beautiful and the "creek" is a dry creek-bed strewn with boulders and debris and unnavigable even for walking in or along. My campsite had absolutely no shade and the environment was so bleak that I went on driving, didn't even spend the night I had reserved. The FS road into it was a mess of very deep potholes and I was very happy that there was only a mile of it to traverse with my minimalist teardrop trailer lacking shocks and leaf springs. What a disappointment!

Beautiful setting. Campsites were well maintained. It is busy with campers coming and going and the road above the camp ground. But, once nightfall hit and off to bed, it was a quiet night. This was a one night stopover on our road trip and was just right.

Big beautiful campsites with lots of trees and privacy. Fairly narrow raod for angling trailers into sites. Ours is only 16" and it was tricky. There is no sign for Forest Road 438. At about 2.3 miles off I-90 there is a brown National Forest sign and then an unmarked road to the left to the campground. If you cross the water you have gone too far.

They camp hosts were very kind, beautiful mornings, even though no running water the bathrooms were very very clean, loved how it was close to town but still felt secluded. Great access to the lake, the only issue is the tent sites have no privacy and the ground was quite rocky. We had an air mattress and rainfly so we were fine but I could see it being an issue for others

We were a bit underwhelmed by our visit. The site just seemed not too well taken care of... We know it's camping and all, but it just had an unexpected "dirty" feel. I expect bugs while camping, but there were a lot of specifically flies. It probably didn't help that we were close to the vault toilets (lot 009). My fiance, who likes to go to "man camp" and usually isn't picky about toilets did not even want to use it. We left before our reservation ended to find a hotel because when the wind blew towards us, our camping spot would smell awful. We were told by some local campers that this spot is more of a spot people just pass through and spend a night when they need to, and that the place used to be nicer.
So basically, if you need to sleep somewhere for one night this might be fine for you, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. I would avoid camping close to any restrooms there.

The grounds were clean and very well kept up. I wish they had more spots or a better reservation system. But it was a great experience.

The description of the campground was not up to date. The creek doesn't flow in the summer time at all and has not for years. The only source of water was one hand pump for the entire campground. It appeared they had another but it was disconnected and not working.
I will say the camp hosts were awesome, friendly and helpful. The vault toilets' were clean and well kept. The campground was quiet and peaceful, with each site having ample room and privacy.
