Pool is closed on Wednesday for cleaning,
I wish they opened one hour earlier in the morning, so the warm pool can be enjoyed while the day is cooler. And I wish the evening hours extended till 9p on the week days for the same reason. I understand that the hours on the weekend Friday & Saturday are till 9 or 10p.
We camped in site 17 a double site with 2 tables. There is no shade here so we brought 2 shade structures...one over one of the picnic tables and one over the tent with young children so they could hopefully nap during the day.

To crowded and noisy on the weekend. Loud music and motorcycles.

The group site was not very big. There was only room for one tent. The grass was knee-high. And the ground on the site was very unlevel so having more than one tent was very hard for my family. Over all the site was nice. There were activities but very expensive. Most people swam in the creek because of the cost to swim in 100 degree weather. Will not be going back ever

Silver Creek has been our favorite campground for many years. This year we had 3 generations there and had a great time. The whole campground, camping spots, swimming area and store/office all were clean and 'spruced up'!! We will definitely be back next year!
The only issue was getting your Reservations made!!! Recreation.gov is not the easiest to make a Reservation or to make any changes to an existing reservation or even to determine how to do it right the first time!! But we I did it and we will be back!!!

Good amenities, well managed facility, great creek, but so many people and not much space is our only ding.

Camp staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very nice and the creek is easily accessible. If you get annoyed by dirt bikes/ATVs/4x4s you may want to look elsewhere, as they are constantly coming in and out of the campgrounds. Drinkable water is available on the campgrounds and there are bathrooms available. The trees at the campsites provide minimal shade, so a canopy may be smart to bring.

It was a little harder finding creek access from our site across the road but the overall stay was wonderful and the host is great.
