In the last week of a May our large family visited Silver Creek for four days. We found it quiet, clean, and so friendly. The amazing staff at the hot springs were helpful, kind and always pleasant. There are many choices of activities, swimming, fishing, hiking, volleyball, horse shoes, a playground, and trails to explore on our side by side. Some of us were early risers who enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness of the area, others enjoyed late night games around the campfire. One thing we all noticed was plenty of activity all the time but we never felt imposed upon, children played safely on the roads, pets roamed freely but never wandered, drivers were respectfully cautious. We had no cell phone or internet service, which we very much enjoyed. Overall it was bliss!! We cannot wait to go back and are planning our next trip (for a longer stay!)

Arrived Memorial Day as the other camper left for home. Weather was good with some rain showers and the campsites were perfect. The campground was mostly empty after the holiday. The hot springs across the river was a real treat.

The campground was clean and there was plenty of space between the sites. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. However the road had not been graded and was filled with potholes for several miles.

Direct access to the creek. Lots of grassy area around. No shade so I would bring a canopy next time.

Peace Loop site 14 was just right for us with a 21 foot trailer. The site was mostly level (one block on the passenger side) and has the creek just a few feet away. The campground was quiet and water was available to fill up once we made the trip up the hill.

The forest service road to the campground was terrible. The campground was great! Clean, spots are far enough apart for privacy, bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to the hot springs. If it wasn't for the road that nearly shook my RV apart, I would have gave this campground an "excellent." I don't get why the forest service only grades their roads once or twice a year...
