This group site is so amazing! It's secluded from the rest of the campground and on a dead end road so it's just you and your group up there on the knoll overlooking the lake. Individual sites were great size options for various campers and tents and family sizes. Group fire ring was great with movable picnic tables for eating together. Campground signage about it being a reserved group site could be better as people do drive in to see if there are sites and we even had one site poacher stay one night after arriving late. The trail down to the lake is beautiful and we appreciated that we could also drive down and park by the lake for those with little kids.

Nice little campground about 3 mi down a gravel road that is in good condition. Saw many wild turkeys and deer during our stay. Campground was quiet and peaceful. Mever did see the camp host. Our only complaint would be fairly difficult access to Lake Coeur d'Alene. There was only access to the boat dock but the edge of the lake is a cliff due to the low water. Verizon service was good enough to stream Netflix. There was 0 T-Mobile service.

If you’re looking for a small, quiet campground a ways from town this is one for you. It’s a basic set up with a nice view of the lake.

We had a great time staying at Devil Bay Campground and would definitely consider coming back, especially with a large group. The upper loop is a fantastic area for group camping because it's enclosed and provides a great setup for families and larger gatherings to stay together.
The campground itself was a bit dry during our visit, and access to the water could definitely be improved. The beach area is limited, and getting to the docks and swimming areas was more difficult than expected. Adding better beach access and making it easier and safer for people to swim would greatly improve the overall experience.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the group-friendly layout and beautiful surroundings. With some improvements to the waterfront access, this campground could be an even better destination.

Bell Bay is one of our favorite places to stay! Jan does a fabulous job making sure all vault bathrooms are clean and the garbage cans around the campground are changed regularly.
