What Guests Are Saying

Mokins Bay Campground is a peaceful and secluded spot, praised for its cleanliness and friendly camp host. Many campers enjoyed the spacious and private sites, making it a great place for relaxation. However, some sites could use leveling, and noise from nearby campers during the night was a concern for a few visitors. Overall, it is considered a hidden gem worth revisiting.

Swimming access is 12 mi down the road....nothing close unless you're putting in for kayaking.

Campground is small which was great for our kids to ride their bikes around the loop. Host kept it clean and campsites are very shaded. My only issue is that there’s no direct access to the lake from the campground. Even though it’s directly across the road from the lake the only public swimming hole is on the other side of the lake (25 min drive). You could probably launch a kayak or paddle board from the spot in front of the campground

This campground is on a winding narrow road that takes about 30 minutes to navigate it's 15 mi run. Hayden Lake is over run with housing which makes traveling the road even more of a challenge. If you are not planning to travel to and from the campground it would be fine but if you want to travel in and out you better plan on almost an hour to go in and out of the 15 mi stretch.

Really nice campground! Very beautiful, and the grounds are well-maintained. The location is remote enough to be quiet, and still pretty accessible.

The sites were nice and private, and were as described. We had a positive experience minus having some loud neighbors. We would come back
