Spent several months at Luck Lake 208. Beautiful location, wonderful girls that work at the store. The owner Nikki is fabulous 👌 The gentleman that fills the propane is great. I think the only thing we didn't like about the spot was the construction for the freeway but 208 is definitely a place to be. Beautiful sunsets and fishing yesssss 😀

"Truck parking is a constant struggle. I pulled into this store for a quick break and coffee, only to be met with total disrespect. A woman claiming to be the owner woke me up by screaming, cussing me out, and making offensive comments. Even after I tried to move, she kept insulting me and flipped me off. It’s frustrating to be treated like an enemy by the very people whose businesses we keep running. A simple request to move would have sufficed; the verbal abuse was completely uncalled for."

A great place to spend a night. The sun was out and looking over the lake was very relaxing.
The mountains in the background are humbling.
The office staff is super friendly and guided you to your spot. Level sites and long.

Entrance hard to find off interstate. Poor signage. Bathrooms to far away. When I asked why, the girl said, "We're fixing them. Money doesn't grow on trees." Despite speed limit, local campers race by in their trucks. Interstate noise all night. No dog park. Dry, dusty, windy, desolate. Because of engine problems elsewhere, I had to cancel a future paid reservation . They charged me $25 to do so. Crooks!! Stay away!

I do not typically leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience in this case.We made last-minute reservations for two spots at the RV park, and Nicki, the owner, was very pleasant and accommodating when taking my payment. However, after the payment was processed, my experience changed significantly. When I later called to obtain the address and reservation details—having received no confirmation—I was told that no reservation existed under my name and that I must have contacted the wrong location.
After confirming with my credit card company that a $280 payment had been processed, I called back to provide this information. I was told I would receive a return call once they located the payment, but I never did and had to follow up myself.
We were planning to travel over 300 miles to attend nearby boat races. When it became clear that the weather forecast was unfavorable, I contacted Nicki again. Although I understood the reservation was non-refundable, I respectfully asked whether any form of credit for a future stay might be considered given the circumstances. At this point, I found her demeanor to be extremely rude and unprofessional, which was particularly disappointing given that she is the owner. I was told there was nothing that could be done, that she had no control over the weather, and that she “needed to make money.” I was also told that forecasts often predict rain that does not occur, despite an 85% chance of rain, strong winds, and temperatures around 61 degrees. I want to clarify that my rating reflects customer service only, as we did not ultimately stay at the park and cannot speak to the facilities. In my opinion, the level of professionalism, communication, and follow-through fell short of expectations.
As a business owner, it is important to handle situations with courtesy and professionalism, regardless of the outcome.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve future customer experiences.
