The camp hosts were so welcoming, friendly, helpful, kind, considerate, and wonderful. My stay in F loop earlier than this visit also had wonderful camp hosts. Helen (camp host in B loop) has restored the camp hosts' qualities that we had many years ago. The last two years the camp hosts in B loop were horrible! Some of my family will never go to Buffalo again because of the bad experiences they had. I decided to try it again and both visits were great. I hope you keep hiring people-person hosts.

Our family loved camping here and tubing down the river. Saw 3 moose and won’t ever forget this place. The hosts were so nice to our kids. Campsite was awesome and bathrooms were kept clean as well.

Campsite was clean and ready for us when arrived. Beautiful location right next to Elk creek. Great floating and fishing.

A great place to stage your entry to Yellowstone. Henry’s Fork runs directly next to the campground and is great for a slow float in the water. At the end of the camping loops there is a fishing area where you can put into the river and get out at your campsite. Loops A &B have flush toilets and fresh water taps are scattered throughout the campground. There is no dump station in the campground but there is one in a day use area on the main road less than five miles to the south. This park is beautifully maintained with flat paved parking for your RV. Peaceful and restful.

Too many Utah campers they reserve the entire Loop C in Buffalo Campground inIsland Park. They snat h opal the spots that have elevated tropical hookups and bring all their buddies and friends to party half the night. Idaho natives like us need to camp in the boonies. Change the rules to no Utah campers. It is a zoo everytime thanks to Utah people... And they pay no taxes in Idaho like I do....

We had a great trip to the Buffalo Campground. Our camp host, Helen, was accommodating to some changes in sites, and helping us to extend our stay in Island Park. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind.
We have heard rumor that 'they' may be removing the flushing toilets. What is up with that? I understand the cost of the sewer system may be increasing, but couldn't they up the cost of each campsite by a couple dollars to offset the cost?

Good camp ground. A little bit of road noise in Loop A and B but not bad at all.
