They are doing construction on bathrooms in the A and B loop and it was not the best time for them to have large equipment running.

The sites in the campground were weedy, claustrophobic with very uneven ground. It was hard to even follow the road around the campground to see which was a site and which was the road. We didn't even stay... we left to find another campground.

The camp host that has been in C loop (Janet and Eddie) have been there for 25+ years and we came this year because last year they were supposed to retiree but they are still there. They are the worst. Janet came to our camp 7 times in the first day. I didn’t have my trailer backed into place when she first came up on us and bothered us. We couldn’t even back in and watch our kids because she was all over us immediately for stupid things like getting envelopes on our site post and checking plate numbers and discount cards before we even could put it in park. They are so bothersome that I won’t come back until she is gone. Its unbelievable how pestering and annoying it is to camp with the host that just as well be staying in your site with you. Then we got written up for having an empty cooler that’s never seen food in it yet sitting in the camp site WHILE WE WERE STANDING IN IT. Policy says to put it away when more than 100 feet away but you can absolutely have a cooler when you’re in your camp site. Unreal. Never again.

A beautiful campground situated near the Buffalo River. Our experience was very positive, and was made even better by the campground host. She was very kind and capable, and the bathrooms were kept immaculately clean all the time. Thank you for a lovely experience.

It would be nice to have the information on the web page for this campground updated. They do not allow ATV's or Side x Side's to be driven in the park. We understand why this is a rule. But there is no mention of the overflow area (might need to be made bigger) where you can park your UTV's & tow trailers for staging. It is a "first come" area and all of the parking spots were taken most days. Our camp spot B-6 is listed as 35 feet pull thru when it is probably close to 70-80 feet long. This information would have been very helpful when planning our trip since we pull doubles. We have a full size pickup, 30' long 5th wheel and a 16' long enclosed trailer to haul our 4-seater SxS and all three vehicles fit in our camp spot easily. The camp grounds are beautiful and well maintained, especially the restrooms. Thank you for listening to my comments.
