The area is beautiful. The camping spots are nice, large enough for big rigs and slide outs. The guys love the fishing.
Sites to see in the area are Mesa Falls (beautiful). Big Springs where Henry's Fork begins, Johnny Sack cabin, and feed the big fish, lots of fun. West Yellowstone is only 20 to 30 minutes away and of course Yellowstone west entrance. Harriman State Park is a fun place to visit to learn about the history of the area. There is also Henry's Lake State Park if you prefer lake fishing to river fishing. We go every year and love it.

Nice campground with plenty of spacious sites for RVs and travel trailers. We liked the paved roads and sites which made it a mostly dust-free experience in the campground. We were there mid-June Sunday-Thursday and there were plenty of first come first serve sites available. Our loop (F) remained pretty quiet, never completely filling up. River access was limited: some sites adjacent to the river had narrow paths through the tall brush, but for other sites the only access was at the far end of the campground - a small parking area with a broken boardwalk out to the edge of the river (not allowed to use the boardwalk). We enjoyed a day of biking various back roads and trails, fairly easy access from the campground via ATV trails beside the main highway.

The camp host was pleasant and helpful, the camp ground was nice and woodsie, the camp site was okay. The camp site had plenty of grassy hidden holes that nearly left me with twisted ankles several times. Just had to be more observant of where I stepped. Overall I would highly recommend this campground to anyone.

The campground was incredibly clean, the bathrooms were spotless, and the area was quiet and peaceful. We floated the Buffalo River, which was absolutely heavenly. Our camp host, Ilene, was so kind and on top of everything. Definitely stay here if you get the chance!

The only downside? We still had cell service. 😉📱

There were no spigots at individual sites and at the last minute we realized our site also had no power. Luckily we had a little solar. Pretty basic sites but not bad. The campground was close to the water but there’s very little access and no view. We enjoyed our time I just felt the river description was misleading. Camp host was wonderful.
