Campsite is clean and spacious enough for a 10 person tent. Convenient pull-through drive for RV use and easy access. There is a sink and flushing toilets in the nearby restroom. Campsite is located close to restaurants, gas stations and a local grocery store. Is located right on the river. The reservior is located not too far away at Buttermilk campground, for additional boating, fishing and swimming recreation. Located only 26 miles from West Yellwstone. The only negative is the noise from the highway.

We enjoy visiting Buffalo campground every year. However it is getting harder and harder to get in. Reservation system is hard to navigate and is very inconvenient. We come from 6 hours away and cannot take a chance on the first come first serve sites. Our favorite loops are B & C and they are always gone.
Our campground host is very thorough and a pleasure to talk with.

Good camp site, friendly campground manager, at times generators with RV’s a little loud.
