The only problem with the campground is that they took out perfectly good flush toilets and put in pit ones. In the summer it gets so hot and they stink extremely bad and draws flies. They need to clean them out more then once a summer.

A very nice campground about 30 minutes outside of West Yellowstone. I was a solo female camper and felt very safe, the camp host was lovely and came right over to introduce herself and give me an overview. It was relatively quiet at night, you can hear the highway at times, but that really didn’t bother me. Camp site was large and spaced out from others. Very nice families there. Lots of mosquitos when I was there, but apparently that gets better after the first few weeks of June. Bug spray and long layers and you will be fine. Clean bathroom, cold drinking water, and food/bear boxes. I’d definitely recommend! :)
