I made reservation about 2 months before. The day i was leaving i checked my reservation and it said it was canceled do to repaving. I was not notified by email or phone call at all. I reserved a spot with electricity and wasn't setup with generator . My reservation that showed cancelled said do not do anything that you was working on it. I took a picture of email and give it to camp hostess and he said he was going to let his boss know. i never heard anything from anyone after that . So i booked one with out and had to get generator to be able to come on vacation. I was not real happy because i was not contacted.

Buffalo is a beautiful, well kept campground. I enjoyed how clean the restrooms were, the friendliness and knowledge of the campground hosts, and the fact that each camping spot was very clean. I am a woman who pulls my own trailer and camps alone. I found the spots easy to access, level and I felt very safe. I will definitely camp there again.

Buffalo is a beautiful, well kept campground. I enjoyed how clean the restrooms were, the friendliness and knowledge of the campground hosts, and the fact that each camping spot was very clean. We spend one night on the campsite , it was our second visit here and we love this quiet place near the river. In the morning we saw 2 moose on the other side of the river. The host told us, this would be normal, some times the moose spend the night on the campground. We will come back and stay there for more days.

From Ashton, Idaho: Take U.S. Highway 20 north for 25 miles. The campground entrance is .25 miles north of Ponds Lodge on the east side of the highway.
