Very nice campground. Clean and quiet. Floated the river everyday. Walked down to G loop and floated to B loop. I would stay here again just for the river access

The potable water spigots were well placed. The pit toilets were well kept and clean. Only C-loop has electricity...what a shame other loops/sites don't have that hook-up. This would be such a great campground with more electrical hook-ups. Floating down the Buffalo River is wonderful.
West Yellowstone is only 40 minutes away and great for those trip momentos (warning, though, it is touristy!). Be sure to catch a show (or more) at the Yellowstone Playhouse [campy, cheesy, irreverent, but FUN and funny!] AND be sure to opt for the prime rib dinner....great evening of entertainment. Also, be sure to make room for a visit to Mesa Falls (but you can skip the Johnny Sack cabin unless you are already in the vicinity). Island Park and Buffalo Campground are scenic and relaxing.

This is a very busy place with people enjoying the river. Glad for the quiet hours and bear boxes.
