Good clean spot in the Aspens. A little road noise… but not terrible.
Saw 2 moose in area. Hosts were awesome.

The North Fork campground is well-kept, featuring clean facilities and friendly hosts who provide excellent service. Campers appreciate the beautiful scenery, privacy between sites, and the proximity to both nature and nearby amenities in Ketchum. While there is some road noise, it tends to decrease at night, allowing for a peaceful experience overall.

Location, cleanliness, and beauty make this a fantastic campsite. The campground hosts (two sisters) were so amazing. They delivered firewood right to the sight and were so friendly and hardworking. We loved our stay here, with such a private site and the river nearby. We definitely plan to be back soon.

Beautiful campground! The sites are clean and spacious, with many located right along the Big Wood River. Falling asleep to the sound of the rushing water is hard to beat. The vault restrooms were sparkling clean and very well maintained.
One of the campground’s biggest highlights is its direct access to the Harriman Trail, which runs from Ketchum to Galena and is perfect for biking, walking, and exploring with your dog. The trail conveniently connects several campgrounds along the way.
The campground is also just a quarter mile from the ranger station, dump station, and water fill facilities. Its location is ideal—only about five miles from Ketchum and within easy driving distance of Stanley and Redfish Lake.
Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventure, scenic bike rides, fishing, hiking, or simply relaxing by the river, there’s no shortage of things to do. We’ve stayed here many times and will happily stay here again.

Really enjoyed Liz's friendly, receptive manner. Nice, quiet, natural surroundings. Really enjoyed the 2 moose that came through our site the morning we were leaving so will have lasting, good memories of our time at North Fork Campground!

This is probably the worst FS campground I have stayed in for some years. First, the main entry road was unpaved, rough and consisted of powdered dirt which ensured every vehicle going past your campground dusted you down. The actual campsite was also powdered dirt in the traffic areas and was overgrown with vegetation. The table was sunken and tilted to the point of being almost unusable. To add insult to injury we were required to reserve the campsite for three days because of a holiday (Fathers Day) really??? The only bright spot to this visit was the camp host, who was very friendly, hard working, and a credit to the Forest Service. Yes she was an actual employee and not an uncaring contractor.
