What Guests Are Saying
O'Hara campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting, enhanced by cedar trees and proximity to hiking trails and the Selway River. While there is no potable water on-site, visitors appreciate the clean environment and scenic views, with many returning for family outings. Some concerns were raised about facilities, including the need for a camp host and improvements to the water situation and bridge access, but overall, guests enjoyed their experiences.

Still no water or camp host, which is fine because the hosts that have been there are not much help.

I love this campground!! It is in the most beautiful setting. I was there for two weeks. I got to experience weekdays and weekends. I did not enjoy the weekend days. There are ALOT of people who do not follow the dogs on leash rule. I was a prisoner to my campsite because if I walked my dogs around we would be approach by other dogs coming out of their campsite because they were not tied up. Those folks made my experience miserable and I had to drive to another location just to walk my dogs. Other then that I loved my stay.

We had a nice quiet camping trip. There was a few Geese with goslings and friendly squirrels. Selway Falls was in full flow and beautiful.

Beautiful setting. Camp hosts were a bit intense. Made for an uncomfortable experience.

The camp hosts made their own rules for the campground. We have been coming to O’Hara for years and never had an issue with the camp hosts but this year was different. They changed quiet hours and came to our camp multiple times to tell us that either the kids were being too loud or that we were and this was all before 9 pm. It’s very sad that this is happening when the kids are playing and using their imagination.
