What Guests Are Saying
O'Hara campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting, enhanced by cedar trees and proximity to hiking trails and the Selway River. While there is no potable water on-site, visitors appreciate the clean environment and scenic views, with many returning for family outings. Some concerns were raised about facilities, including the need for a camp host and improvements to the water situation and bridge access, but overall, guests enjoyed their experiences.

The best campgrounds I have stayed at by far, very clean, quite, peaceful, beautiful cedar trees, and the relaxing sound of Selway river.

Site # 28.
Excellent stay close to the river. Very quiet campground with ample space on our site with all basic amenities.
Very convenient location in the wilderness, accessible via a paved road to the camp. Afterwards it's a gravel road for about 12 miles, good and easy for all types of vehicles. But we preferred to bike it upstream to its end. <<<<<<<<<<

Nice, scenic area with clean restrooms. I found the signs warning of possible rattlesnakes in the grassy areas as the park does not cut the grass and it is almost chest high so there is no way of seeing if there are any snakes in the grass around the site.
GOOD
* Clean toilets!
*Trash dumpsters and potable water available on site
Opportunities for Improvement
* A campground map posted on the intake message board would be most helpful!
* A note posted on the intake message board advising of the location of the NSF dump station located on 7 mile the road into the campground would be most helpful. Also should clarify if the dump station fee is included in the campsite fee or if it is additional.
Thank you for a nice stay.

So great. Shaded almost the entire time, bathrooms were reasonably smelly, ran out of TP on Sunday and many of the water access faucets didn't work but generally a really great campground.
